Our routes range from 4 to 30 miles, cycling on quiet country lanes and bridleways. The user friendly format is easy to follow, using a mixture of written instructions and a visual map, marked with waypoints. Whichever cycling route you choose, you will be guaranteed fantastic views and memories that will last a life time!
Round About Windermere and Bowness
A circular cycle route exploring the surrounding countryside of the Windermere and Bowness area.

An exciting cycling route taking you across lake Windermere on the car ferry, then cycling along the beautiful lake shore to Hawkshead village and back. Our most popular route!

An interesting historical route taking you across lake Windermere on the car ferry, towards Hill Top, Beatrix Potters former home. Beautiful North West countryside awaits!

Cartmel Priory and Holker Hall
Take a relaxing cruise on Windermere Lake with your bikes, from Bowness Bay to Lakeside. Here you explore the southern tip of the Lakes towards Cartmel and Holker Hall, one of the oldest villages in the region!
