What is a Country Lanes Cycle Quest?
The group is split into teams and given cycle routes to follow, scoring points for answering questions and using their ingenuity along the way. This is not a race (penalties are applied for early return!) so riders of all abilities have an equal chance, and a walking option is available for those who prefer. There is a prize, but the emphasis is on personal achievement and team work.

What about refreshments?
Drinks and snacks can be provided, or Country Lanes can liaise with a local hotel, restaurant or tea-room to provide a suitable end to your day's activity.

Where does the Cycle Quest take place?
Our Country Lanes cycle centres are located at Windermere Railway Station and Lakeside, Newby Bridge. If your own hospitality includes an overnight stay it may be possible to start and finish at your hotel.

I need more than a day
No problem! We can organise short breaks or longer tours for small or large groups. How about a winter walk with crackling log fires in country inns? Country Lanes can advise on an event to suit your objectives at any time of year.
