Shimano Steps Electric Bike Maintenance Training
Company director, Guy Fitzgerald, recently attended the Shimano Steps eBike maintenance training course. “The course enables us to now offer a Shimano Steps diagnostic, repair or replacement service. In addition to Shimano Steps we’re also a qualified Bosch and Yamaha electric bike service centre.”
Tandem Hire Bike
Our new Tandem hire bike has arrived! The Velocity Ridgeback is light weight, easy to handle and has 24 gears to help you get up the hills. Tandems are a great experience to try and makes an ideal gift or birthday present!
Carbon Road Bike Hire
We now hire carbon road bikes from our cycle hire centre on Windermere train station! The Lapierre XELIUS SL 500 DISC carbon road bike is used by the pro team Groupama-FDJ in the Tour de France. Fitted with the Shimano 105 groupset, hydraulic disc brakes, Continental Ultra Sport 2 SL 700x25C tyres and UCI approved frame. This bike is light, smooth and soaks up the miles.

Give the gift of cycling! The gift vouchers are valid for 12 months and can be used to redeem any of our cycle hire products, providing the voucher is up to that value. Popular gift ideas this year are for eBikes or tandems. The vouchers can be purchased on our Cycle Hire page. Once purchased simply telephone or email to book your date.

One of our awesome Haibike SDURO Fullseven 3.0 premium hire ebikes exploring the Welsh countryside! This powerful machine flew round the 15.5 miles of tough terrain with half the battery power remaining! Thank you Gwydir MTB trails, North Wales for a great day out!

New Haibike Electric Hire Bikes Arrive!
Our lovely shiny new fleet of electric hire bikes have arrived! Built by the well renowned German company Haibike these powerful machines, fitted with 70Nm Yamaha motors, can take you almost anywhere! We have a choice of three models to hire or demo: the Sduro HardSeven 1.0, Sduro HardNine 2.5 or my favourite the Sduro FullSeven 3.0 fitted with full suspension for extra comfort and control.

We hope you enjoyed the festive period and are ready to kick start the new year with some cycling! Our centre is open most days over winter from 10am to 4pm, or by arrangement for bookings, so why not make the most of the mild weather. We have some fantastic cycle routes to explore and our fleet or reliable hire bikes are raring to go!
New Fleet Arrives, including Haibike and Raleigh eBikes
Our brand new fleet of 2018 Marin hire bikes have arrived! We have a range of mountain bikes, including the popular Hawk Hill full suspension, hybrid and road bikes ready to ride. We also hire and sell a range of Haibike and Raleigh electric bikes to help flatten out the hills! These bikes are available to demo for sales with next day delivery (subject to supplier stock levels). March also signifies the start of our season when we open daily from 9am until 5pm, every day of the week.
